Hearing Aid User Guide

Action for Deafness provides both NHS and Private Hearing Aids. If you have private hearing aids, please refer to the instructions provided by your audiologist.

NHS Hearing Aids: Most Action for Deafness patients are fitted with Behind the Ear (BTE) hearing aids, with an ear mould or a thin tube fitting with small silicone dome. A small number of patients are fitted with In the Ear (ITE) NHS aids due to medical reasons. If you have an ITE please refer to the instructions provided by your audiologist.
